Condé Nast to Lay Off About 100 Employees, Furlough Roughly Another 100

Condé Nast, the writer of magazines like The New Yorker, Vogue and Vanity Fair, will lay off about 100 staff and furlough round one other 100, in line with a memo from CEO Roger Lynch despatched out Wednesday.

The transfer comes a month after a primary spherical of pay cuts and furloughs had been introduced in April to fight the monetary influence of the coronavirus pandemic, which is ravaging digital media and publishing.
